Global Institute Middle East

Global Institute Middle East FZ LLC (GIME) was founded in 2007 by Zafar Siddiqi and Rakesh Wahi. It is an Academic Infrastructure Provider (AIP), licensed by Tecom, providing the infrastructure and facilities to Murdoch University International Study Centre Dubai. The vision of GIME is to build a world class tertiary education business in the Middle East by providing quality Australian higher education closer to home.

Murdoch University Dubai is the group’s first university branch campus, established in 2008. Murdoch University Dubai was set up in academic collaboration with Murdoch University, Australia. The University currently has 700 students at its campus in Dubai International Academic City offering UG & PG programmes in Media, Business & IT. The campus houses world class TV and radio studios, newsrooms, advance editing suites and more.

According to Times Higher Education 2016, Murdoch University is ranked in the 2% of Universities Worldwide. Murdoch University is also ranked in the Times Higher Education ranking of the world’s top 100 universities under 50 years old. At Murdoch Dubai students earn a fully accredited Australian degree with its associated international recognition. All our programs are accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) in Australia and locally authorized by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Government of Dubai.

Transnational Academic Group Africa

Established in 2013, Lancaster University Ghana is the Group’s second university branch campus (first in Africa) in academic collaboration with Lancaster University, UK. The University currently has 400+ students at its campus in East Legon, Accra and is estimated to cross 700 by 2017, making it the group’s fastest growing university campus.

Lancaster University is ranked in the Top 1% of universities worldwide. The University’s Management School is triple-accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. Lancaster University in Ghana is also locally approved by the National Accreditation Board. The NAB is an agency under the Ministry of Education responsible for better management of tertiary education as well as serving as the Quality Assurance Body at the tertiary education level.

Transnational Academic Group (TAG) formerly known as Trans National Education (TNE)  is globally approved by the British Accreditation Council. Click here to see our certification.  The BAC is as an independent body set up in 1984, and acts as the UK national accrediting body for independent further and higher education. Its accreditation is a well-established, international quality assurance scheme and is regarded by students and agencies throughout the world as one of the most reliable guides in selecting a higher education institution in which to study.
