Transnational Academic Group Middle East

Transnational Academic Group Middle East, formerly known as Global Institute Middle East FZ LLC was founded in 2007 by Zafar Siddiqi and Rakesh Wahi. It is the Education Management Service Provider, licensed by the DCCA (Dubai Creative Clusters Authority), providing infrastructure and facilities to partners in Dubai. The vision of TAG Middle East is to build a world-class tertiary education business in the Middle East by providing quality Australian higher education closer to home.

Transnational Academic Group Africa

Transnational Academic Group Africa (TAG Africa) formerly known as Trans National Education (TNE) is globally approved by the British Accreditation Council. Click here to see our certification. The BAC is as an independent body set up in 1984, and acts as the UK national accrediting body for independent further and higher education. Its accreditation is a well-established international quality assurance scheme and is regarded by students and agencies throughout the world as one of the most reliable guides in selecting a higher education institution in which to study.

Curtin University Dubai

Established in 2017, Curtin University Dubai is the Group’s third university branch campus established in academic collaboration with Curtin University, WA.

Curtin University is an innovative, global university known for its high-impact research, strong industry partnerships and commitment to preparing students for jobs of the future. With campuses already in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore, the Curtin Dubai Campus, located in Dubai International Academic City, will strengthen Curtin’s position as a truly international university with a global outlook. Curtin University is ranked in the top two percent of Universities Worldwide in the Academic Ranking of World Universities. Curtin’s strong credentials are also reflected in its high ratings in the prestigious QS World University Rankings:

  • Ranked 27th in the world in 2016 for universities under the age of 50.
  • Awarded a five-star overall excellence rating (out of five star +) in the International QS Stars rating 2016.
  • Ranked second in the world for Mineral and Mining Engineering in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017.

Transnational Academic Group Africa

Established in 2013, Lancaster University Ghana is the Group’s second university branch campus (first in Africa) in academic collaboration with Lancaster University, UK. The University currently has 400+ students at its campus in East Legon, Accra and is estimated to cross 700 by 2017, making it the group’s fastest growing university campus.

Lancaster University is ranked in the Top 1% of universities worldwide. The University’s Management School is triple-accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. Lancaster University in Ghana is also locally approved by the National Accreditation Board. The NAB is an agency under the Ministry of Education responsible for better management of tertiary education as well as serving as the Quality Assurance Body at the tertiary education level.

Murdoch University Dubai

Murdoch University Dubai is the group’s first university branch campus, established in 2008. Murdoch University Dubai was set up in academic collaboration with Murdoch University, Australia. The University currently has 700 students at its campus in Dubai International Academic City offering UG & PG programmes in Media, Business & IT. The campus houses world class TV and radio studios, newsrooms, advance editing suites and more.

According to Times Higher Education 2016, Murdoch University is ranked in the 2% of Universities Worldwide. Murdoch University is also ranked in the Times Higher Education ranking of the world’s top 100 universities under 50 years old. At Murdoch Dubai students earn a fully accredited Australian degree with its associated international recognition. All our programs are accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) in Australia and locally authorized by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Government of Dubai.
